Cost Explorer excludes the current partial month. Use Optimize Overview for current-month spend and forecast.Compare services
The Breakdown by service table uses the latest completed month in the selected range.
The chart and table use the same selected connection and range. They do not combine multiple cloud accounts.
Ask about what you see
The Ask CloudThinker section turns the current view into an agent conversation. Pick a suggested question or type your own, then send with Enter or the arrow button. Anna opens a new conversation scoped to the selected account, the 6- or 12-month range, and any service filter in effect. Select Continue investigation to open that conversation, or Ask another question to stay on the page. Asking requires chat access in addition to Optimize view access. If the conversation cannot open, your question is preserved — select Retry to send the same request.Export the view
Select Export to download the current Cost Explorer data as CSV. The export uses the same connection, range, service grouping, and currency shown on the page. The button remains unavailable until Cost Explorer has completed-month data to export.Currency and freshness
Provider billing data can arrive after usage occurs. Optimize preserves the last successful evidence and shows refresh health when new evidence is delayed or blocked.
